High utilization of palm oil in Indonesia corresponds to mill effluent (POME). The POME has chemical oxygen demand (COD) up 100.000 mg/L, which can pollute the ecosystem if not adequately treated. One methods manage is anaerobic thermophilic digestion. advantage this method production methane gas a form alternative energy.
